Biography

I'm Joey Kirk. I'm the creative director of 5M Sports, a branding firm dedicated to working with athletes and sports organizations. Starting out as a journalist, my career shifted into more graphic design, and into web presence and technology consulting. I started 5M Sports about six months ago, as a spin-off from my first design firm, 5M Studios.

On Access Athletes, I hope to give athletes some insight into building an online presence through social networking and viral video campaigns, in addition to helping athletes understand the importance of connecting with fans through the use of the Internet. Within this blog, I will provide key information in working to develop web sites, along with speaking with athletes who have done social networking the right way.
